Electronic Communications Consent

Version 1.0Last updated September 22, 2026

Some details are still being finalized. They appear in [brackets] and will be completed before Everwise launches publicly. Questions? Email privacy@myeverwise.com.

In plain English

  • Everwise communicates with you electronically: in the app and by email.
  • This includes account and security alerts, policy updates and, in the future, transaction notices and required disclosures.
  • Please keep your email address current. Marketing emails are separate and always optional.

Full legal terms

2. Communications covered

  • Account alerts, such as sign-in confirmations and security notices.
  • Policy updates, such as changes to our Terms or Privacy Policy.
  • Transaction notices, if Everwise offers real transactions in the future.
  • Disclosures and notices we're required by law to provide.

3. Keeping your contact information current

You're responsible for keeping a valid email address on your account and for checking it, including spam folders. Notices are considered delivered when sent to the email on file or made available in the app.

4. Withdrawing consent

Where the law allows you to withdraw consent to receive certain communications electronically, contact us. Because Everwise is an online service, withdrawing consent to essential electronic communications may mean we can't continue to provide your account. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect communications already provided.

5. Hardware and software requirements

[To be completed before launch.] To receive electronic communications you need a device with internet access, a current web browser that supports modern security standards, and an email account.

6. Marketing communications are separate

Product updates and tips are optional and require your separate opt-in. You can change this anytime in Settings or by using the unsubscribe link in those emails.
